It was officially launched during the Summer of 2010. The main concept behind the website was to bring more business to the Miracle Mile, to inform the community of Coral Gables about new events and store promotions, and overal improve communication with all the businesses in the Miracle Mile Area allowing store/restaurant owners to network, post blogs, and announce specials, events, and promotions.
Though based in Miami Beach, Architectural Photographer David Fast took the photography of the Historical Architectural Elements as well as the night time photography of the hussle and bussle of the restaurants and bars in the Miracle Mile area in Coral Gables. The goal was to show and express all the energy that businesses in that area of Miracle Mile have at night time. The new website has become a success on many levels. Store and Restaurant owners are very pleased to have a bigger voice. Local residents are also happy to be able to see what is new in their community and when special fairs and events are going on. The Shop Coral Gables website is also very informative for tourists, who can access store directories, maps, and directions to parking garages.
